Portal announcement

We are happy to announce the new BALL web site. The new BALL portal is based on Plone and will give you easier access to downloads, documentation, and additional information concerning BALL.

In particular the ability to download snapshots of the current BALL development might be of interest to you as it gives you access to the most recent developments and bugfixes. The whole documentation of BALL is also searchable for the first time -- just try the search field in the upper right corner! Also the download process has been simplified -- you just register with the portal and from there on you will be able to "download:BALL/Downloads the snapshots and releases whenever you like withouth further hassle. Mind you that this does not imply any changes in our licensing: commercial use still requires a commercial license!

We have been testing the new site over the last few weeks but obviously there's still room for improvement. If there is a feature you'd want to see, if something doesn't work. if you find something unintuitive or requiring improvement: please do contact us by email.
